When you apply for a personal loan with Unity, we need to ask a few simple questions about your financial situation, such as income and expenses, and some personal details such as your name and residential address.

This information informs us of your eligibility for a loan, and helps us make an informed decision on how much you can apply for and the rate of interest your loan will be charged at.

This information includes:

Demographic information

Financial & employment information

If your salary or wages are already deposited into your Unity account, then you may not need to supply any additional documentation as we’ll be able to verify your income from your account information. However, you may need to supply statements for other bank accounts or debts that you have.

If you’re not already a Unity customer, or have your wages paid into a different account, then we’ll need to see proof of your income and financial information, such as:

  • Proof of your income, including current payslips that details your annual income or your last three consecutive payslips.
  • Other existing loans, debts, expenses, assets or liabilities, which will help us assess your application and current financial situation.
