A note from your CEO
It’s now been six months since we combined our four credit unions to create New Zealand’s largest credit union.
Behind the scenes there are multiple projects underway as we review all our current products and services and plan on how we can take the best features from the four contributing credit unions and align them to benefit all members. At the same time, we’re keeping our eye on how advances in technology continue to drive change in both business and our everyday lives. We’re aware that how consumers choose to interact with service providers is changing. Currently, we’re looking at how we can enhance our mobile banking app to improve this experience for you and improve the reliability and ease of use. We’re really excited to take you on this journey of growth and innovation as we look towards the future of your credit union.
Special Meeting August 2019
Thank you to everyone who submitted their votes for our recent Special Meeting. The introduction of online voting went extremely well, with 1,200 members taking the time to vote. All three resolutions were passed on the night.
Annual General Meeting October 2019
We would like to extend a warm invitation to all members, to attend our first Annual General Meeting under the new entity. The AGM will be held in Dunedin on 30 October 2019. As all voting will completed online, all members regardless of location can have their say. As such there will be no voting on the night. However, if you are able to attend the meeting, it’s a great opportunity to interact with your Board, management team and staff. We’d love to see you there.

Through the Transfers of Engagements, we have benefited from the skills and knowledge of an increased number of Directors on the Board; that include representatives from all legacy credit unions: ACU, Central, South and Baywide. The number of Directors will reduce back down to seven over the next couple of years. The upcoming AGM is your opportunity to consider and vote on the candidates whom you would like to see continue on the Board. Please take the time to carefully read through the candidate profiles and take the time to vote. As members, this is your Board and we encourage you to have your say.
