The AGM is to be held on Monday, 27 September 2010 at 7.30pm in the Shakespeare Room at the HB Opera House, Hastings Street, Hastings. NZCU Baywide Receives Credit Rating

Standard and Poor's released Credit Union Baywide's credit rating today:
"Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today it has assigned its 'BB' long-term counterparty credit rating to Credit Union Baywide (CUB), a credit union in New Zealand's Hawke's Bay region. At the same time, we assigned out 'B' short-term counterparty credit rating. The outlook is stable. The ratings on CUB reflect its strong geographic niche and loyal membership base as shown in recent high investments rates despite difficult operating conditions."

Resident Withholding Tax (RWT) Update
As of 1 April 2010 the Government is changing the RWT rates. If you are currently receiving interest which has RWT deducted at the rate of 19.5% you will automatically be moved to the new 21% rate from 1 April 2010.
If you expect your annual income to be under $14,000 or less from April 2010 you may want to update your RWT rate. To change this rate on you NZCU Baywide accounts, all you need to do is advise your local branch or simply download a change request form and send it in. We can then take care of it for you.
