Hastings Business Celebration Award SMALL2

NZCU Baywide are very proud to be announced as winners of the CopyPlus Outstanding Professional Service Award, at the Hastings City Celebration Awards on August 17, 2018. The 'sparkling' awards ceremony, held under an impressive 20m geodesic dome in Albert Square, was a fantastic night celebrating local businesses, retailers, service providers and not-for-profits. We have a long-history here in Hastings, having opened our original branch in 1971 as Whakatu Freezing Works Employee's Credit Union, so we were really honoured to be recognised in this local event.

This year’s judges were Jacqui Mathews-Harris (Black Cat Education, Sally Jackson (Hawkes Bay A&P Society), Wayne Walford (Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce), Regan Cotter (EIT), Brandi Dixon (The Te Mata Mushroom Co.) and Head Judge Craig Riddiford (BWR). We were very impressed with the wealth of experience and knowledge the group of judges bought forward and the judging process was a great opportunity for us as an organisation to reflect on our services and business practices - a fantastic learning opportunity for everyone involved.

We'd like to thank the Hastings City Business Association and all sponsors involved. A big congratulations all our fellow nominees and winners on the night, particularly Thomson Suits who took out the "Supreme" award.
